Ratification of New FUSA Constitution
Dear Students,
The Fairfield University Student Association is excited to announce the ratification of our new FUSA Constitution! Members of the FUSA Constitutional Convention Committee have worked for almost two years to update and revise the previous constitution, to better reflect the needs of the student body and improve FUSA as an organization. The constitution was ratified on March 14, 2021, after a three-fourths majority vote of all FUSA members.
Because FUSA is “for the students, by the students,” all members of the student body are considered general members of FUSA. Therefore, in an effort to remain transparent and keep students up-to-date on what we have accomplished, we are sharing the details of our new constitution with you all. In the new document, which can be found here, there are updates to various FUSA constitutional bylaws. The constitution is also on our Life@Fairfield page under “Documents,” as well as our Student Resource Page on our website.
If you have any questions about our new constitution, please feel free to reach out to us by emailing fusa@fairfield.edu, or dropping a comment in our FUSA Comment Box.
Thank you,
The FUSA Constitutional Convention Committee
