TULLY TUESDAY: BREAKFAST EDITION
Happy Tully Tuesday, Stags! We hope you are starting off the semester on the right foot. Starting off the semester right also comes with starting off each day with a healthy and energizing meal. That is why Tully Tuesday will feature ways in which you can spice up your meals from what the Tully and other dining areas have to offer.
This week, Tully Tuesday is taking on breakfast. Here are some ways to get fueled for a day of learning!
Oatmeal or Overnight Oats
The Tully has loads of fruit, yogurt, and granola to fuel your body, but there is a solution to make this fruit even more delicious with overnight oats or regular oatmeal. Oatmeal is so versatile and you can add nearly anything to it to make it taste amazing. Just purchase some quick oats and combine your favorite Tully fruits with some milk or water!
Here are our favorite recipes:
Breakfast Parfait
Like oatmeal or overnight oats, breakfast parfaits are super simple to put together with the items that the dining halls on campus have to offer! It is as simple as layering your favorite fruits, yogurt, and granola into a cup or bowl. This is also a great snack for a sweet tooth throughout the day. Combine berries for a sweeter combo or pineapple and melon for a tropical combo!
Here are our favorite recipes:
Strawberry and Blueberry Yogurt Parfait
Upgraded French Toast
On the lucky days that the Tully has French toast for breakfast, try upgrading the flavor with some fruit or granola next time! Top it off with some bananas and granola for an extra crunch and variety.
DIY Breakfast Burrito
Ordering some tortillas from Amazon to accompany the dining hall food might just ensure you have a savory breakfast option. Wrap your eggs, hash browns, and favorite breakfast meat into a tortilla to combine all of those wonderful flavors. The best part is all you have to do is wrap everything together - no cooking involved!
